We have all spent money on things that don’t really matter to us. Things that don’t improve our lives, make us feel better, etc. Spending money, especially when you are in debt like me, can be an emotionally complicated issue. In the moment, you might be feeling great, but then guilt creeps in and lingers.
After careful study and exploring, I’ve discovered a way to avoid the guilt trap and spend money on things that really matter to me. Recently, I talked about how I spent $200 on my 6-year anniversary with my boyfriend. Did I feel guilty? Not one bit.

So true. Personal Finance 101 is all about controlling those unnecessary expenses.
Yep! And spending where it really counts. 🙂
Listen….I’m so glad you are taking some time out to enjoy your life. Everyone who follows your blog knows you’re the side hustle queen. It’s great you can celebrate love…enjoy.
I know exactly the guilt you’re talking about!!!
When I traveled for work I used to visit the mall to kill time and end up buying things I didn’t need. It was my way of feeling better for being away. So happy I no longer do that. It took awhile.
