Dear Debt,
It’s Friday night and you know what that means?
It’s ladies night. I’m going to forget about all my troubles, put on some lipstick and go out and shake my ass until the sun comes out.
And I’m doing it all without you. I’m not going to spend one thought on you. There is so much fun to be had, and a great life to live. I’ve spent too much time dwelling on what could’ve been with us. I’ve spent too much time feeling like you owned me.
I convinced myself that I wasn’t worth anything except the value of your number. My own self-worth was in debt.
Tonight, I break free. I am finding my inner goddess, the woman who knows deep down I am stronger than you ever will be.
Love,
M

Haha. I’ve just come across this site and I love it.
The style is so original and really funny!
Can’t wait to read the next letter…
Wow, thank you! I think this comment just made my week! Glad you found me and happy reading 🙂
ha ha! I’ve had a lot of nights like this in August. Maybe too many! lol! I need to start a new blog called, Dear Budget, Sorry about that! 🙂
Haha me too! You should write a dear budget letter–I’m sure a lot of people could relate to that apology. Summer seems to be hard on the budget.
